Lewis Craft focused on enhancing CI/CD processes for the hmcts/hmc-cft-hearing-service and hmcts/hmc-hmi-outbound-adapter repositories by implementing automated build trigger commits. Using Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipeline concepts, Lewis introduced no-op commits that enabled reliable, traceable pipeline invocations without altering application code or user-facing features. This approach reduced manual intervention, accelerated feedback loops, and improved release readiness across both repositories. Throughout the two-month period, Lewis maintained disciplined change management and clear commit messaging, reinforcing stable project history. The work demonstrated proficiency in Git, CI/CD automation, and cross-repository collaboration, with an emphasis on process reliability rather than functional code changes.
