During May 2025, Hazel contributed to the Nitrokey/nitrokey-documentation repository by enhancing Fedora installation instructions for the pynitrokey tool. Focusing on documentation and Linux environments, Hazel updated the guidance to include essential development packages such as python3-devel and libudev-devel, ensuring reliable installation via pipx and aligning with modern Python packaging practices. The work, written in reStructuredText (RST), clarified onboarding steps and reduced potential support issues for Fedora users. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, the update addressed a concrete usability gap and demonstrated attention to detail in technical documentation and user experience.
