During February 2025, Luis Ferrnan upgraded the Node.js runtime from version 18.x to 20.x throughout the opendatahub-io/odh-dashboard repository. He applied this update across the codebase, CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and documentation, using a single commit to ensure consistency and minimize disruption. By leveraging his skills in CI/CD, DevOps, and Docker, and working with Dockerfile and YAML, Luis aligned the project’s execution environments with current security standards and feature support. This work reduced runtime risk, improved compatibility, and set the stage for smoother future updates, reflecting a focused and methodical approach to infrastructure maintenance and modernization.
