Worked on the sst/opencode repository to enhance configuration management by implementing a feature that prioritizes the OPENCODE_CONFIG_DIR environment variable for resolving AGENTS.md configuration files. This approach ensures that user-specific configurations reliably override global defaults, reducing ambiguity and supporting future customization needs. Developed comprehensive tests in TypeScript to validate path resolution both with and without the environment variable, strengthening the reliability of the configuration logic. Leveraged Node.js and full stack development skills to address precedence issues, aligning the configuration handling with project expectations and improving maintainability for developers working with user and global configuration sources in the codebase.
