Added server certificate information to the request context, enabling downstream services to access certificate data for improved policy enforcement and traceability. The approach focused on maintainability, including renaming variables for clarity and updating the changelog to document changes. Utilized Java for backend development and applied network security principles, specifically around SSL/TLS, to ensure secure data handling.
