Worked on the Lichtblick repository to streamline release engineering and improve deployment reliability over a two-month period. Focused on version control and package management, the work included synchronizing main and develop branches to reduce codebase drift and ensure consistent release histories. Implemented version bumps in package.json files for releases 1.22.1 and 1.23.0, updating build workflows and standardizing release artifacts and metadata for better reproducibility. Leveraged DevOps practices and Node.js, with configuration managed in JSON and YAML, to enhance release traceability and compatibility. The approach emphasized disciplined versioning and branch hygiene, supporting more reliable and auditable software delivery processes.
