Developed and delivered a dynamic network device management feature in the kata-containers/kata-containers repository, focusing on PCI path configuration for hotplugged network endpoints within the cloud hypervisor runtime. This work enabled on-demand network interface card management, supporting flexible and resilient cloud deployments where hardware changes are frequent. Leveraging skills in CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes, the implementation used Bash and YAML to automate configuration and streamline operational workflows. The feature reduced the need for manual reconfiguration, minimized downtime, and improved incident response, laying the groundwork for scalable, hardware-change-tolerant cloud infrastructure with enhanced network device management capabilities in dynamic environments.
