During February 2025, Light Tsing focused on enhancing the Scroll Proving SDK by upgrading its core dependencies within the scroll-tech/scroll-proving-sdk repository. Leveraging Rust and advanced dependency management skills, Light updated the alloy and revm libraries to newer versions and forks, improving compatibility and ensuring access to recent features and bug fixes. The work included applying a targeted upstream fix to resolve integration issues, which stabilized the dependency surface and aligned the SDK with ongoing protocol changes. This effort emphasized rigorous validation and release discipline, reducing technical debt and laying a stable foundation for future development within the Rust ecosystem.
