During November 2025, Lighthx migrated XLink to the Brotocol framework within the DefiLlama-Adapters repository, focusing on enhancing token management and enabling reliable total supply retrieval. This work involved integrating Node.js and JavaScript to refactor the core framework, reducing risk for downstream adapters and improving maintainability. By establishing a reusable Brotocol-based XLink core, Lighthx laid the foundation for future tokenomics tooling and broader reuse across the codebase. The approach emphasized full stack development and API integration, addressing scalability concerns and ensuring that future enhancements can build on a more robust, modular architecture. The work demonstrated thoughtful engineering depth.
