During their two-month engagement, Ligi focused on targeted UI and content maintenance within the efdevcon/monorepo repository, leveraging React and TypeScript for front-end development. Their work addressed two specific bugs: removing an outdated Devcon message from the dashboard welcome text to improve onboarding clarity, and correcting the event year display in the venue component to ensure accurate information across the application. Both fixes were implemented as isolated, low-risk patches with careful validation to prevent regressions. Ligi’s contributions demonstrated attention to detail and adherence to messaging guidelines, resulting in a more consistent and user-friendly interface without introducing new features.
