In February 2026, Haiqiang Li developed a dynamic custom operations registration mechanism for the FlagOpen/FlagGems repository, targeting vllm dispatch keys to improve device compatibility and runtime performance. By enabling on-demand registration of custom operations for unregistered dispatch keys, Haiqiang addressed issue #1550 and reduced runtime dispatch errors. The solution was implemented in Python, leveraging deep learning and library development expertise to enhance cross-device operation coverage.
