October 2025 monthly summary focusing on delivering clear IPv6 networking guidance for K3s. The primary deliverable was updating the K3s Networking Documentation to inform users about external routing requirements for publicly routed IPv6 addresses. The update clarifies that K3s does not automatically manage external routing infrastructure for pod IP addresses and advises routing public IPv6 addresses toward the cluster to avoid issues with receiving responses. This work was completed in the k3s-io/docs repository with a targeted commit providing explicit guidance.

In August 2025, we delivered a Kubernetes PriorityClass configuration for Woodpecker job pods, updated the Kubernetes backend to apply the configured PriorityClass at pod creation, and updated documentation.
