Worked on the outline/outline repository to enhance the multilingual mention input experience, focusing on improving real-time mention search during IME composition for languages such as Korean, Japanese, and Chinese. Addressed the challenge of capturing and updating mention queries accurately by introducing a new event handler for composition updates, ensuring that suggestions remain relevant as users type with IMEs. The implementation leveraged TypeScript and ProseMirror, emphasizing robust frontend event-driven input handling and careful integration with existing mention services. The work demonstrated attention to cross-language input support and disciplined commit practices, delivering a targeted feature that aligns with collaborative product goals.
