During April 2026, contributed to the DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped repository by delivering a feature that enhanced session management flexibility for Express applications. Developed a dynamic cookie settings capability for express-session, allowing the cookie option to accept a function that computes per-request cookie configurations. This approach enabled context-aware session handling, improving the developer experience for library consumers and supporting more granular security or compliance requirements. The work was implemented using TypeScript and leveraged Express.js and Node.js, focusing on type safety and maintainability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding configurability and reinforcing open-source collaboration practices.
