Worked on the intel/media-driver repository to enhance the reliability and observability of the video decoding pipeline. Addressed a critical bug affecting maximum trace data size and HEVC slice offset and size, improving the stability of the decode component. Introduced per-frame tracing instrumentation in the release driver, enabling more granular debugging and performance analysis during video decoding. Utilized C++ for driver-level development, applying debugging and performance optimization skills to streamline investigation and tuning processes. The work focused on targeted improvements that reduced troubleshooting time and supported ongoing performance analysis, demonstrating a methodical approach to both bug fixing and feature development.
