During September 2025, Lin Xiaotao enhanced instrumentation and observability in the actiontech/sqle repository by developing Plugin Stop Lifecycle Logging. This feature introduced start and end log markers for plugin shutdown events, providing clearer visibility into the plugin lifecycle. By leveraging Go and focusing on logging and monitoring, Lin enabled more effective debugging and faster triage during plugin stop sequences. The implementation improved the reliability and release readiness of the codebase by making plugin shutdowns more transparent. Although the work was scoped to a single feature, it demonstrated depth in plugin development and laid a foundation for proactive issue detection and resolution.
