During February 2025, Liucoj enhanced search functionality and domain filtering in the open-webui/open-webui repository. They introduced an optional filter_list parameter to the search_tavily function, enabling more precise search results through refined filtering logic. Liucoj also addressed a bug in tavily.py that previously caused domain-based filtering to behave incorrectly, ensuring accurate and efficient data handling. All changes were implemented in Python, with a focus on backend development and API integration. The work was delivered in a concise, well-documented manner, reviewed with QA for stability, and demonstrated a targeted approach to improving both feature depth and code reliability.
