During a two-month period, Guoqing Liu focused on backend reliability and test stability across the wazuh/wazuh-indexer and questdb/questdb repositories. In wazuh-indexer, Liu improved the Ehcache Disk Cache integration tests by refining cache utilization and introducing robust cache-warming checks, which reduced flaky test failures and increased confidence in cache behavior across environments. In questdb, Liu addressed stack overflow issues in the regex replace functionality, enhancing error handling and stabilizing core tests. Working primarily with Java, caching, and integration testing, Liu’s contributions targeted critical bug fixes, resulting in more reliable continuous integration pipelines and a stronger foundation for future development.
