Worked on stabilizing proxy handling for JCEF workflows within the JetBrains/intellij-community repository, focusing on backend development using Java. Addressed a specific issue where the Proxy PAC URL included an incorrect port, which could lead to misconfigured proxy settings and unreliable connections in CI and test environments. The solution involved carefully removing the erroneous port from the PAC URL, ensuring that proxy configurations functioned as intended for JCEF-based processes. This targeted bug fix was validated and committed to the codebase, resulting in improved reliability for developers relying on automated proxy detection and reducing the likelihood of user-facing proxy misconfigurations.
