Worked on the AOSC-Dev/aosc-os-abbs repository to deliver an upstream-compatible upgrade of the Visual Studio Code package to the 1.125.x series. Focused on build configuration and Linux packaging, the work ensured cross-architecture compatibility by updating checksums for both AMD64 and ARM64 platforms. Maintained version variables and verification artifacts to support reproducible builds, while aligning the package management process with official sources to minimize drift between source and packaged artifacts. Utilized shell scripting to automate updates and verification steps, resulting in a more reliable packaging pipeline and traceable deployment through clearly documented commits and synchronized build specifications.
