Worked on enhancing performance benchmarking for hash-based signature schemes in the IrreducibleOSS/binius64 repository. Developed standardized benchmark functions in Rust, adjusted sample sizes to improve measurement accuracy, and removed an overly restrictive tree height limit to enable more realistic and comprehensive testing scenarios. Centralized a platform diagnostics utility, reducing code duplication and simplifying ongoing maintenance. This work improved the credibility of cross-platform performance comparisons and reduced future technical debt by consolidating benchmarking and diagnostics tooling. Leveraged skills in benchmarking, cryptography, and CI/CD, using Rust and YAML to deliver robust, maintainable solutions focused on performance visibility and codebase maintainability.
