In the gleam-lang/gleam repository, a bug was addressed by correcting the OTP application name written into package metadata, resolving build failures for Mix-based projects that depend on Gleam packages. Concurrently, the Birds of Paradise theme was introduced to zed-industries/extensions, ported to the Zed v0.2.0 schema, and validated through theme tests and licensing checks. These contributions involved backend and frontend development using Rust, JSON, and TOML, ultimately reducing release risks and improving both developer experience and theming capabilities for end users.
