Lokesh worked on the ubicloud/runner repository, developing a configuration management feature that prioritizes loading migrated settings during startup. Using C# and focusing on file I/O and error handling, Lokesh designed the startup flow to first attempt loading the .runner_migrated configuration file, falling back to the default .runner file if necessary. To ensure configuration changes are applied seamlessly, Lokesh implemented an automatic session restart mechanism triggered by detected updates. This approach improved system resilience and reduced downtime during configuration updates. The work demonstrated a solid understanding of system design principles, though it was limited in scope to a single feature over one month.
