Worked on the is-a-dev/register repository to implement domain DNS configuration for a user site, focusing on infrastructure-as-code practices and deployment readiness. Developed a JSON-based configuration artifact containing DNS records and user data, and updated the CNAME record to point to the root of the GitHub Pages site, ensuring correct domain resolution and improved site accessibility. Leveraged skills in configuration management, data management, and web development to deliver deterministic deployment artifacts and facilitate easier future DNS changes. The work emphasized maintainable, code-driven governance over DNS settings, with all changes tracked in version control for transparency and reproducibility. No bugs were documented.
