Month 2026-05: Delivered two strategic upsell initiatives in metabase/metabase that extend monetization opportunities and improve user experience, underpinned by increased test coverage and UI polish. Features delivered include Analytics Upsell Enhancement in the Insights tab and Remote Sync Upsell with a dedicated Settings page. Both efforts included UI refinements (consistent padding, updated images, alignment fixes), addition of an upsell gem where appropriate, and comprehensive unit tests to prevent regressions. In addition, test snapshots and route-level tests were updated to reflect new UX flows.

Performed code refactoring for clearer structure, centralized URL logic in hooks, and expanded unit test coverage to validate the migration path. Also completed code cleanups, removed deprecated login paths, and set up test scaffolding for ongoing quality assurance. These changes reduce friction for customers migrating to cloud, improve maintainability, and lay groundwork for future migration improvements.
