Lou Telli developed automated security scanning and enhanced monitoring for the CHORUS-TRE/chorus-tre repository by integrating the Trivy operator into existing Helm charts. This work enabled Kubernetes workloads to be continuously scanned for vulnerabilities, with Trivy-derived data surfaced through Prometheus and the kube-prometheus-stack for real-time visibility and alerting. Lou updated chart dependencies, configurations, and documentation using YAML and Markdown, ensuring that security and observability features were robust and maintainable. The project demonstrated careful change management through iterative commits, including feature additions and subsequent cleanups, resulting in a more secure and observable deployment process for Kubernetes environments.
