During the month, contributed an end-to-end multimodal capability to the zml/zml repository by implementing the Qwen3VL model, which integrates image processing and text generation. Focused on business value and reliability, the work included adding cross-format image input support for BMP, JPG, and PNG files using the Zignal library. Refactored buffer handling and image resizing logic to enhance robustness and maintainability. Demonstrated technical depth by providing a BF16 example implementation based on the Qwen3VL 4B baseline, leveraging compile-time constraints for predictable model behavior. Utilized Zig as the primary language, with expertise in deep learning and model deployment.
