Worked on internationalization for the louislam/uptime-kuma repository by delivering a complete Simplified Chinese localization, covering all 1,479 strings to improve accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Utilized JSON for translation files and leveraged the Weblate platform to manage and validate the translation workflow, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process. The contribution included a fully integrated and reviewed translation commit, establishing a scalable approach for future localization updates. This work addressed the need for broader language support, enabling smoother onboarding for new users and laying the foundation for ongoing improvements in localization and translation within the project’s development cycle.
