Laurent developed a centralized Bill of Materials (BOM) project for the uber/NullAway repository, focusing on improving dependency management and cross-subproject consistency. Using Gradle and Groovy, Laurent architected a solution that standardizes dependency versions across all NullAway subprojects, reducing version drift and minimizing build instability. The BOM serves as a single source of truth, streamlining upgrades and simplifying maintenance for downstream teams. Laurent integrated the BOM with the existing repository structure and CI workflows, ensuring seamless adoption. This work addressed architectural challenges in build automation and dependency governance, providing a robust foundation for safer upgrades and more predictable builds.
