Worked on the hashicorp/consul repository to enhance the Consul UI by adding support for displaying and validating Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDNs). Developed a validation pattern for FQDNs and updated the existing IP address processing utility to recognize and return valid FQDNs alongside IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. This front end development effort, implemented using JavaScript, improved data quality and user experience by reducing misconfigurations and enabling DNS-based service visibility. The changes addressed issue #22779 and were delivered as a UI/bugfix update, reflecting a focused approach to UI development and attention to detail in handling network address data.
