The approach involved reassigning CODEOWNERS for specific packages to the simulator-integration team, consolidating responsibility and clarifying accountability within the project. By removing outdated code owners and aligning ownership with the integration workflow, the changes reduced review cycles and maintenance overhead. This work relied on skills in Code Ownership Management and DevOps, utilizing YAML to update configuration files. The result was a more efficient review process and clearer operational boundaries, supporting ongoing maintainability and governance within the codebase.
