Developed board support enhancements for the Zephyr4Microchip/zephyr repository, enabling the Zephyr RTOS to target the ST NUCLEO-G491RE board. This work involved creating configuration files, device tree sources, and comprehensive user documentation, ensuring seamless integration with the existing Nucleo ecosystem. The approach emphasized alignment with established board support patterns to facilitate ongoing maintenance and simplify continuous integration testing. Utilizing C programming and embedded systems expertise, the developer prepared the platform for broader Nucleo compatibility and CI validation. All contributions followed disciplined Git workflows and code-signing practices, resulting in a maintainable and well-documented addition to Zephyr’s hardware support.
