Worked on improving the reliability of Ollama integration within the microsoft/vscode-copilot-chat repository, focusing on stabilizing model data flows for enhanced user experience. Addressed a critical bug by fixing the tool-calling mechanism for Ollama models in Agent mode, ensuring that model information is accurately stored and retrieved. This solution reduced integration errors and improved the robustness of workflows backed by Ollama. The work was implemented using Node.js and TypeScript, leveraging full stack development skills to deliver maintainable and collaborative code. The changes were delivered with traceable commits, reflecting a methodical approach to debugging and integration within a complex codebase.
