Worked on the spring-projects/spring-ai repository to deliver a configurable enhancement to OpenSearchVectorStore, enabling compatibility with AWS OpenSearch Serverless while maintaining backward compatibility. Implemented a manageDocumentIds flag to allow explicit control over document ID generation, addressing the requirements of different OpenSearch environments. Expanded both unit and integration test coverage in Java to validate new ID management logic and end-to-end scenarios, ensuring robust backend functionality. Addressed code style issues by resolving multiple Checkstyle violations, which improved CI reliability and code quality. The work demonstrated a focus on backend development, integration testing, and AWS integration within a production-grade Java codebase.
