During July 2025, Leon Sutardja developed a monocular depth estimation notebook example for the DeGirum/hailo_examples repository, leveraging Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and the DeGirum PySDK. He implemented an end-to-end workflow that included model loading, a custom postprocessor, depth map visualization, and pixel-level depth retrieval, addressing the need for accessible computer vision demonstrations. Leon expanded device support, integrated eight additional models, and refined inference configuration to support both local and cloud deployment scenarios. His work also included targeted code cleanup and documentation improvements, which enhanced stability, streamlined onboarding, and enabled more reliable and flexible demonstrations for users and stakeholders.
