Lu worked on the JuliaPackaging/Yggdrasil repository, delivering an upgrade of the FMM3D dependency from version 1.0.1 to 2.1.0. This work focused on improving package management and version control practices by updating the Git source reference, ensuring reproducible builds and better traceability. Lu coordinated cross-repository changes to align dependency management with downstream integration needs, documenting the process in release notes and adhering to established packaging standards. The project was implemented in Julia and demonstrated disciplined release processes. While the scope was limited to a single feature, the work addressed dependency hygiene and supported smoother integration for future development.
