Focused on front end development using React and TypeScript, the work involved refining the timer’s lifecycle management to ensure it stops correctly during periods of inactivity and avoids displaying misleading information when a response is undefined. This targeted bug fix enhanced the stability and correctness of asynchronous UI components, reducing user confusion and increasing trust in the application’s conversation history. The changes contributed to better code health by handling edge cases and aligning with established issue tracking processes.
