During November 2024, Luca focused on stabilizing upgrade troubleshooting for Kyverno within the giantswarm/handbook repository. He restored and clarified documentation addressing Kyverno upgrade failures, ensuring operators had clear guidance for resolving stuck-in-pending-upgrade scenarios. By enabling a rollback path for the security bundle Helm chart, Luca improved cluster upgrade resiliency and reduced the risk of upgrade fallout. His work involved reinstating a previously deleted knowledge base page, preserving critical operational information for on-call engineers. Utilizing Markdown and YAML, and drawing on skills in Kubernetes and troubleshooting, Luca delivered targeted documentation updates that deepened the repository’s reliability and operational support.
