Worked on the canonical/ubuntu.com repository to implement a staging reverse-proxy entry for the usn-db service, enabling targeted routing of requests for security update testing. Leveraged configuration management and DevOps practices to introduce this feature using YAML, focusing on improving the deployment workflow in the staging environment. The reverse-proxy setup allowed for isolated testing of security updates, reducing iteration time and minimizing risk prior to production deployment. This work enhanced the team’s ability to validate changes in a controlled setting, demonstrating proficiency in reverse proxy configuration and infrastructure automation within a collaborative development process over the course of the month.
