Yoshiro Fan developed a favorites-based sorting feature for the venera-app/venera-configs repository, focusing on improving the pull order reliability for Wnacg comic sources. Using JavaScript and front end development skills, Yoshiro automated the alignment of pull order with user favorites, which reduced the need for manual curation and enhanced data consistency across sources. The solution was validated end-to-end within the pull workflow, ensuring repeatable deployments and supporting faster, more predictable content delivery. This work established a foundation for future data-driven ranking metrics, demonstrating thoughtful engineering depth in both the technical approach and the practical impact on user experience.
