During July 2025, this developer contributed to the EngFlow/example repository by creating a platform-independent installation guide for Buck2, focusing on enabling source builds across various operating systems. Leveraging Shell scripting, Rust nightly, and Cargo, the guide details reproducible steps for installing a specific nightly Rust version and building Buck2 directly from its Git repository. This work addressed onboarding challenges by simplifying the setup process for new contributors and ensuring consistent build environments.
