
Over two months, contributed foundational engineering to PaddlePaddle’s PaddleFormers and ERNIE repositories. Established project scaffolding for PaddleFormers by implementing CI/CD pipelines, code linting, and CPU/GPU testing using Python, YAML, and GitHub Actions, while also creating governance artifacts to streamline onboarding and release management. For ERNIE, centralized LoRA initialization and refactored tooling code to improve maintainability and consistency across DPO and SFT workflows. Addressed a critical bug in the LoRA model merging process, ensuring reliable configuration handling and enhanced debug logging. The work emphasized code quality, configuration management, and robust automation to support scalable, reproducible machine learning development.
