The solution involved precise debugging and targeted changes to the core page layout and reset logic, minimizing the risk of side effects. Utilized C++ for the implementation, applying skills in bug fixing and UI development to deliver a robust, Git-traceable fix that improved the reliability of the page numbering feature.
