Delivered a targeted bug fix in Python, ensuring that File objects within StepInput were correctly serialized as dictionaries during to_dict() calls, which restored reliable round-trip serialization. Applied object-oriented programming principles and comprehensive unit testing to validate outputs, including scenarios with multiple files and absent files. Maintained high code quality by running formatting and validation scripts, updating documentation, and performing self-reviews.
