Worked on the garden-co/jazz repository to deliver automatic package manager detection during project creation, replacing the previous npm default with an environment-driven selection among yarn, pnpm, bun, or deno. This feature streamlined the initial setup process by integrating detection logic with command runners and updating client-side tooling, reducing onboarding friction and minimizing environment-related misconfigurations. Focused on ensuring seamless integration with existing project scaffolding, the work established a foundation for package-manager-agnostic workflows. Utilized full stack development skills with Node.js and TypeScript, emphasizing environment-driven defaults and robust integration to support diverse development environments and future multi-manager support. No bugs were fixed.
