Worked on enhancing machine learning workflow stability in the immich-app/immich repository by addressing build failures related to ONNX Runtime on ROCm platforms. Focused on upgrading ONNX Runtime to version 1.22.1, carefully aligning the transition with previous patches and checksums to avoid regressions from earlier versions. Utilized CMake and Dockerfile to manage the build environment, ensuring compatibility and reducing CI flakiness for machine learning components. Collaborated cross-functionally to implement and validate the upgrade, emphasizing effective patch management and code review. This work improved deployment reliability and developer productivity, though no new user-facing features were introduced during this period.
