Worked on stabilizing runtime transport behavior in the CopilotKit/CopilotKit repository, focusing on reducing mid-session disruptions for developers. Addressed a core runtime issue by implementing an idempotent setRuntimeTransport method in TypeScript, introducing an internal _requestedTransport flag to track explicit transport requests. This approach prevented repeated auto-transport changes from triggering unnecessary /info fetches and runtime agent rebuilds, thereby reducing runtime churn and improving session stability. Emphasized core development and testing skills to enhance the reliability of transport management workflows. The work resulted in a more predictable and stable runtime experience, directly benefiting ongoing development and user session continuity.
