Over a two-month period, contributed to Kong’s public-ui-components and kongponents repositories with a focus on analytics and front-end reliability. Delivered an analytics timeframe extensibility feature in public-ui-components, enabling users to select from expanded data ranges such as 90, 180, and 365 days, as well as current and previous year, by introducing new TypeScript definitions and supporting classes. In kongponents, addressed a usability issue in the KInput password component by updating the password visibility toggle to use a button element, preventing accidental form submissions. Work demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, and analytics-driven front-end development with targeted, maintainable solutions.
October 2025: Delivered Analytics Timeframe Extensibility in Kong/public-ui-components, enabling flexible data views with expanded analytics timeframe options (90 days, 180 days, 365 days, current year, and previous year). Implemented new classes and TypeScript definitions to support extended timeframes and ensure correct data analysis across time ranges. The work was carried out as a focused feature enhancement with a clear scope and naming convention (feat(analytics): add more timeframe options (#2565) in the commit). This lays the groundwork for richer analytics UX and supports data-driven decision making in dashboards and reports.
