Worked on the activeadmin/activeadmin repository to enhance the table component by enabling HTML content in sortable column headers, allowing for richer visuals such as images and SVGs in header titles. The implementation involved updating Ruby on Rails code to support unescaped HTML in headers while maintaining security and usability. Comprehensive tests were added to verify correct rendering and prevent unwanted HTML or SVG exposure. The developer collaborated on multi-author commits, aligning changes with acceptance criteria and pull request expectations. This work leveraged front end development skills, Ruby, and testing practices to improve the flexibility and visual fidelity of ActiveAdmin tables.
