During April 2025, Shaan Lumbae enhanced error handling in the microsoft/moc repository by introducing a new PreCheckFailed error code to the errors package. Working in Go, Shaan focused on improving pre-check diagnostics by enabling more granular reporting of pre-check failures. This addition allows the system to surface specific error codes, supporting targeted alerts and streamlining the triage process for pre-check issues. By applying consistent error-handling patterns, Shaan contributed to more maintainable and observable diagnostics.
